The Marketing Manager – Lead Generation, for the Pharmaceutical Portfolio of smart events, is responsible responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Business Development team. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to excel and make a difference is essential!
You will be instrumental in developing and executing the lead generation marketing plans and campaigns based on set targets for a wide range of Smart Events within the Pharma portfolio. You will oversee the campaigns and work with the Digital Marketing team to help plan and deliver the campaigns. You will have insight into customer segments, and you will own the detailed customer contact strategy, as well as the coordination for all customer contact activities.
Generate clear lead generation programmes to increase the number of superior quality leads
Manage multi-channel lead generation campaigns (web, seo, email, ppc/display, print, opt-ins…) with the help of the channel team to deliver for overall planning, testing, evaluating, optimising and reporting
Develop and optimise lead nurturing campaigns to grow data organically
Collaborate with the brand and sales lead to develop plans to nurture and improve the conversion of leads and hit revenue targets
Work with the wider marketing team to co-ordinate communication activity and share lead sources
Create marketing and sales collateral demonstrating the benefits, features, and value of our products/services to our target audience
Collaborating with the brand and marketing head to suggest KPI’s and report the impact of campaign performance
Using SalesForce to manage the effectiveness of the leads for future use
Managing the lead gen marketing budget
Reporting on lead and revenue generation
Working with the content team to re-purpose relevant content to drive relationship building with customer groups and lead generation for the sales teams
Working closely with product research, sales, and services teams to actively understand target audiences and behaviours and translate that into clear campaigns
The ideal candidate will have:
Passion for marketing and sales

Experience in working in an international, matrix organization
Data driven and able to draw and present conclusions based on data

Comfortable in presenting ideas and solutions to large teams including senior management
Knowledge of marketing automation and project management tools, preferably Eloqua and ASANA
Experience with data segmentation tools and CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
Detailed knowledge and understanding of all digital channels and their metrics
Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering marketing lead generation strategies to meet company objectives
A strong understanding or willingness to learn market dynamics and requirements of the pharma industry
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. Able to analyse, interpret, draw conclusions, and implement solutions on a variety of complex issues
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
