HR internal communication specialist

Do you have a passion for employee engagement, HR communications, and project messaging? Join our HR Strategy & Change team at NN as an Internal Communication Specialist. You’ll help shape how we inform and inspire colleagues across the organisation.

What you are going to do

As an HR internal communication specialist you are able to provide hands-on support, develop concrete plans and oversee communication activities. You are a proactive professional who wants to ensure that our colleagues are well-informed, and also enthusiastic and engaged about our HR-topics. You closely collaborate with our senior HR communications specialist, HR-project managers and communication specialist in other departments.

This means that you can:

• Support HR projects like performance management, engagement surveys, vitality, and rewards with clear, aligned messaging
• Develop communication plans and messages or guidelines for company-wide HR projects and support the Business Units with their local communication rollout. Additionally, The Netherlands will be your specific area of focus for HR communications
• Lead (internal) communication on Dutch HR topics such as CLA, mobility, and employment conditions—translating sensitive updates into clear, timely messages
• Collaborate with HR project managers, senior communication specialists, and colleagues across departments

• Salary between €4,092 and €5,846 depending on your knowledge and experience (Based on 36 hours a week)

Who you are

You’re a pragmatic communicator who gets things done and brings others along with your story. You have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree preferable in Communications
• + 5 years’ experience in internal communication.
• Strong editorial skills, demonstrating fluency in both written and spoken Dutch and English
• The ability to simplify complex topics
• Familiarity with HR themes and topics
• Proficient with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint and Teams
• Experience in dynamic, international environments
• A team player who enjoys working with different professionals

Who you will work with

You’ll join a team of senior specialists in change, transformation, communication, and employee experience. You’ll work closely with HR Centers of Expertise, HR Services, and Corporate Relations.
