We are looking for the next Global Digital Commerce Specialist (Onsite Retail Media) to join our Gobal Customer Digital Commerce team. The person will report to the Digital Commerce Excellence Associate Director and will be based in our HQ in Amsterdam.
The Position Holder Will
- Support the eCommerce Acceleration team in analysing, recommending and coordinating investment allocation and performance optimisation in onsite retail media, in our major online retail customers around the world, working with local eCommerce and Customer Teams
- Work closely with the Global Shopper Marketing team to measure the onsite digital retail marketing activity in all markets
- Support the roll out, adoption and day-to-day management of the new Global eCommerce content platform
- Engage with the eCommerce Community in all markets through dedicated initiatives (e.g. webinars, editorial plan, one to ones, inductions, etc.) and foster best practice sharing across regional teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with Analytics & Insights team to provide relevant data and information to eCommerce in the markets who need to more effectively plan, execute and review digital retail media activities (e.g. paid search, banners, cross category activity etc)
- Develop tools and techniques and champion them to help eCommerce Managers in the markets save time and increase efficiencies
- Support the successful roll-out and adoption of the new Product Experience Management (PXM)
- With other members of the global Digital Commerce Team, increase the confidence and capability of the eCommerce Managers around the world in all aspects of analysis, measurement, tracking, improvement, optimisation, automation
- Support the deployment and execution of all eCommerce and onsite retail media materials
- Foster the development of global Digital Commerce, best practice sharing and shopper centric approach
- Support the increased use on the eCommerce tools available (e.g. Remazing, Similarweb, Digital Shelf, Microsoft analytics suite for shopper data, Content PXM etc)
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent 3+ years’ experience in a commercial area (consumer-shopper-trade marketing, customer teams/key account management, category management) in the FMCG or online retail industry. Previous experience at regional or global level is recommended.
- Bright, energetic, can-do, imaginative problem-solver with strong communication, great internal networker, good interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to interpret data, practically apply it to the business, recommend action and measure success.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills. Fluency in English essential, additional languages (French, Italian, German) would be helpful.
