Dutch Copywriter

We are currently recruiting for a Dutch Copywriter for a 1 year contract. You will be reporting into the European Copy Manager, working cross-functionally with the wider EU ecommerce, Netherlands Marketing and Netherlands in-store teams.
The purpose of this role is to produce engaging written content across multiple e-commerce channels in line with UNIQLO brand tone of voice. The content produced will be used by teams across the business in a variety of key customer touchpoints, including product names and descriptions, the UNIQLO Today blog, product category pages and content-rich landing pages in support of multi-channel campaigns. The team member occupying this role will also be a key contributor to the successful launch of the UNIQLO Netherlands and UNIQLO Belgium E-Commerce sites, ensuring that high quality Dutch language UX copy and content is prepared in line with our site launch schedule.
What you will be responsible for

Working as the authority on all things written for UNIQLO Netherlands and UNIQLO Belgium (Dutch language) digital platforms

Contributing to our regional site launch project, including fulfilling requests for UX copy and providing feedback on customer journeys and user flows across the site

Creating short, persuasive headlines and product summaries for weekly homepage updates

Writing engaging subject lines and e-mail content for multiple weekly marketing newsletters

Writing copy for category and content pages to engage customers and drive organic traffic acquisition

Planning and create exciting articles for the UNIQLO Today blog

Revising product names and descriptions in line with brand guidelines and tone of voice expectations

Taking the lead on the continued development of our Dutch brand tone of voice

Supporting designers and site operations teams by responding to ad-hoc copy requests

Working to achieve SEO targets by incorporating keywords and SEO best practices in everyday copywriting tasks

Developing strong product, campaign and business awareness

Creating and presenting data-driven reports on copywriting successes and future projects

Proactively engaging with people across departments and following up on deliverables from others without hesitation

Eventually guiding a freelance copywriter by helping to develop their understanding of the UNIQLO brand and providing frequent feedback on their written work
Candidate’s Profile
What we are looking for:
Experience
-
3+ years’ demonstrable experience content writing in an e-commerce context

Experience in retail or fashion is a must
