The Global Addressable Media team is working across London and Amsterdam, delivering digital media services to connect brands with consumers via best-in-class digital ad experiences and drive sustainable growth. What are you going to do?
The Digital Media Planner is responsible for developing and executing paid social and programmatic advertising strategies that align with client objectives across various markets. You will work closely with client and internal teams to deliver innovative and effective digital advertising solutions.
In this role, you will analyse client briefs and provide insights that drive strategic digital media planning with strong focus on paid social and programmatic channels. Your core responsibilities includes building and managing media plans, ensuring campaigns are executed on time and within budget.
Collaboration is essential; you will work closely with colleagues and local markets within dentsu to meet client service needs. This includes partnering with team members to implement continuous improvements in client and campaign delivery processes, as well as researching new market trends to inform planning.
We are looking for a candidate who can effectively manage client relationships, stakeholder management, develop and execute strategic advertising campaigns with strong focus on paid social and programmatic media. The ideal candidate possesses strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, along with a deep understanding of the media landscape. You should be curious, eager to learn quickly, and adept at communication, with an international background that allows you to thrive in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.
What are you going to achieve?
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement paid social and programmatic media strategies to effectively reach target audience and achieve marketing objectives. Next to that, you also provide support to the senior team, taking responsibility for all administrative tasks within the team to ensure campaigns run smoothly and to plan.
In this role, you will achieve several key objectives:
- Strategic Media Plans: Build and activate paid social and programmatic media plans that align with client goals and drive measurable results;
- Enhanced Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded;
- Performance Optimization: Analyse campaign performance data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement, ensuring continuous enhancement of strategies.
- Effective Communication: Manage communication plans that clearly outline timelines and budgets, fostering transparency and accountability;
- Collaborative Success: Work closely with internal teams and local markets to ensure cohesive execution of media strategies and client service excellence;
- Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends to incorporate innovative approaches into media planning, positioning clients for success in a dynamic landscape;
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of processes related to client and campaign delivery, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Delivers a point of view around a client’s business/category, culture and consumer by compiling, analysing and interpreting information from various research sources (proprietary, syndicated, client provided), and apply to day to day briefs;
- Effectively runs the day to day planning on key accounts;
- Builds and develops media owner relationships in order to drive market leading planning for clients;
- Works with other departments to ensure a campaign goes live on time through the use of best practice and adherence to Service Level Agreement’s;
- Uses understanding of commercial opportunities and trading focuses to ensure investment is guided towards the most appropriate partners.
Who are you?
- You have 3+ years of hands-on experience in Programmatic, Paid Social media buying and planning and within digital advertising industry. Having experience using buying platforms like DV360, TradeDesk, Meta Business Manager and also planning tool like CCS etc.;
- You are well aware of choosing the appropriate media mix for different type of campaigns;
- You are a detail-oriented person with excellent organisational and time-management skills;
- You have the ability to juggle different projects and prioritize workload;
- You have strong communication and collaboration skills;
- You have a passion for digital marketing and the desire to grow within this industry.
