Role Summary
As a strategic Commercial Director, you will be part of our Media Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in fostering the growth of Dentsu media clients. You will lead and support the client management team, consisting of approximately 20 talented individuals, and drive Dentsu’s success in Benelux market.
In the fast-changing digital landscape, our clients expect you to deeply understand the challenges they face. You will advise them on finding the right balance between working with people, technology, and AI, ensuring best practices with consumer data and driving digital transformation initiatives.
You will address challenges with innovative solutions related to automation, personalization, and data-driven decision-making. Within our organization, you will foster a culture where our team focuses on the most important KPI of our clients: increasing revenue with a healthy margin. Together, we will help our clients navigate the current digital landscape using our proprietary Dentsu tools, global technology, and third-party solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote an innovative, collaborative, and client-centric culture with people and talent at the heart.
- Set high-impact priorities, anticipate market changes, and envision the future to deliver client and societal value across the portfolio of Dentsu offerings.
- Deliver on business strategy and growth by developing the client portfolio, promoting integrated client solutions, and driving new business development in line with Dentsu’s scope of work and capabilities.
- Maintain knowledge of top trends, competition, deep vertical knowledge, and business beyond agency relationships.
- Collaborate closely with other local Dentsu practices (Merkle, creative) to leverage cross-sell and upsell opportunities and integrated solutions.
- Maintain an active profile within Dentsu and the marketing industry, becoming a recognized industry expert and thought leader.
- Champion a diverse and inclusive work environment, seeking to hire, promote, and retain a diverse, highly engaged, and motivated commercial team.
